    • Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I have noticed a few crash reports today (they come through anonymously via the app store).

I am sorry this bug has got through. I will fix this shortly. Unfortunately, the lead time for getting a new version through the app store is 6 days at the moment. Let me know if you would like a fixed version sooner, you would just have to register as a tester.

In the meantime, try closing the app and trying again. If that does not work, try deleting the app and reinstalling from the app store. This will reinstall the symptom database.

It would be great if you let me know how you go.

      Thanks again.

  1. It is ok, but my symptom option is not working. It just keeps searching. Other then that I like it.

    • Hello,

The symptom list can take about 10 seconds to load when the Symptom Diary is first run. After that symptoms should appear straight away. Please let me know if you continue to experience symptoms not appearing immediately.

  2. Hello, I am attempting to run your Symptom Diary app on a 4th gen ipad and cannot enter symptoms in a new diary entry. The app gets stuck at “Loading” after tapping on the “Symptoms” button. I’ve let it go for several minutes and it never stops “Loading”. I can back out but since symptom is a requid field, cannot save entries. I have tried clearing all apps, shutting down, and starting fresh but nothing seems to make a difference. Please advise.

    • Hello,

Thank you for the detailed explanation, it really helps. The symptom list should load after about 10 seconds. The steps you have taken are the most sensible ones. Just closing and reopening the Symptom Diary app will attempt to populate the symptoms list if it is empty. Could you confirm whether or not you see anything in the Edit Symptoms list (tap on the Symptoms button on the front page)? Also make sure you are using the latest version 2.0.1. The best thing to try now would be to delete the app and reinstall. Please let me know how you go.

      Kind regards,

      Stuart.

      • Thank you for your response. I do see symptoms on the edit page. I deleted the app and reinstalled. Now the symptoms appear as expected when making a diary entry.

        Thank you.

        Larry

  3. I LOVE this app! However, the symptoms will only populate when I first delete and reinstall, which I have done three times. Otherwise it just spools until I delete app again. I am using an iPhone 5. I am super bummed I can’t get this awesome app to keep running properly.

    • Hello Lisa,

Thank you for letting me know.

Could you register as a beta tester and I will give you a test build that will be able to identify the problem.

Do you see the symptom list when you click on Symptoms on the first page? Also are you able to search the medicines list?

Thank you for your patience. I’m sorry this isn’t working for you at the moment.

      Kind regards,

      Stuart.

      • Hi! I have registered as requested.

Yes, I can see the medicines. I can also see, add & delete symptoms. They just don’t consistently load on the Diary page.

Thanks for your help. Looking forward to using this great app!

  4. Hi

I am finding the app loads well when first installed, however once I have added custom symptoms the symptom list in the diary section is not loading (is still loading 3 minutes after trying) I can access the list fine in the symptom section.

This seems like an amazing app to use, just cant quite use it at the moment with the loading issue. I have tried reinstalling it again, but still not working once custom symptoms added.

    Thanks 🙂 Casey

  5. Love the concept! There is a problem though. When picking a symptom I added myself (in diary after the location selection) it just says “loading” and the symptom doesn’t come up. It works fine with the pre-loaded symptoms.

    • I have just uploaded a new version to the AppStore. This version should fix the problem with the symptom page. There are also new buttons for resetting symptoms and medicines.
